A Trip to See Martha

It all began as a click and a dream, when Charity received confirmation that she would have seats to a live taping of Martha Stewart. After waiting in line for the real paper ticket, she and her friend Ruth and sister Rebecca were whooshed away into a holding room where they were served scones and water; a pre-show treat. They were then given the audience rules of when to clap, cheer, stand up and sit down. It was a very well-buttoned up production; did they expect anything less? As they were escorted to their seats (second row!) the anticipation was killing them. As the lights went down, there she was: the tall, well-primped domestic diva...Martha!
